TheIdol
Theidol are a relatively new company but seem to be one of the better ones at the moment. They check over 30 different insurance companies and not just the larger ones either. They also check companies such as budget and Direct choice.
The form is as easy as all the others to fill in and doesn’t take long. I tried myself again and got some of the cheapest quotes yet. In fact only one other company found me a cheaper quote and I daresay that with different criteria this would be the cheapest for other people.
They use an instant quote system and seem to be quite reliable. Even though they are quite unknown at the moment I have no worries that soon they will be eclipsing other big comparison sites. Most companies start off small and if not for advertising etc I doubt that people would have heard about others such as Gocompare etc.
This is definitely one of the sites to check for cheap insurance and possibly one of the cheapest. If you are interested go to the link below.
The next company, Moneysupermarket, was the one that I got the best quote on and is probably the best known.
